why char pointer take four bytes.while char take only one byte

    Pointer is defined as an ‘INTEGER’ variable that stores the Logical address of the Datatype to which it is pointing. No matter which datatype it is pointing to, it’ll be an Integer itself. Thus it occupies 4 bytes.
