arithmetic operations done in shell script sucessfully………now working on conditions,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
i have implemented whatever is done in session. – chmod, switch case , parameters , if else , elif, mathematical operations

I implemented arithmetic operations, if else,elif, switch case,chmod, parameters.
But I faced many problems in “parameters,”chmod” and “if else”
I’ll post my problems today evening.

Doubt1: To perform Multiplication operation in a shell script why do we use \* instead of *?
Doubt2: Conditional expressions of if statements;
Doubt3: How to implement a jump in the switch case statements?

Problem regarding file permissions:
Suppose under root, I made directory A and under A, there is another directory B, and files A1.c, A2.c. And under directory B, there r files B1.c and B2.c.
Now I want to know, for B2.c file, who r d owner , group members and others.
