The perspective used in the module is that of a LAN which exists between a few small no of devices, which can be there in a college, an office, home or any other place where a connection exists between devices close to each other.
The perspective used to teach Basic network how internet connected to the devices like Host and give us brief knowledge of LAN and its associative Host.
The perspective mentioned in the module is about the basic LAN configuration. The different machines(hosts) and router are connected in the network called LAN(Local Area Network). Router is connected to the internet. All the machines(host) in the network access the internet through the router.
