Installing VLC Media Player on Fedora 27/26/25 and CentOS/RHEL 7/6

Step 1 – Setup Required Repository

First of all, You need to add the required yum repositories on your
system. You can add repositories using the following commands as per
your operating system.

For Fedora 27/26/25/24

Step 2 – Install VLC using Yum

As you have enabled all the required repositories on your system.
let’s install VLC media player using the following command on your
system with required dependencies.

dnf install vlc
